Description
The 15th Annual Duck and Run 5K is a fundraiser to support the work of Keep Athens-Limestone Beautiful, a non-profit dedicated to environmental education. This certified course takes runners through historic neighborhood and downtown Athens, starting and ending at Big Spring Memorial Park (the duck pond). Awards ceremony will follow shortly after the race. Awards will be presented to first place overall male and female and first place masters (over 40) male and female and to the first three finishers in both male and female age groups. A "Mid-Pack Award" and cash drawing will be presented (must be present for cash drawing). Cash amounts for these two awards will be determined by the number of registered runners.
